This will do for now, but I will definitely refine it later! “I am a Northern girl who has been living in the South since 1980. I was born in New York City and moved to Long Island as a young girl. My family lived with my grandparents who came from Naples, Italy.

I was fluent in Neapolitan, but have lost much of the language over the years from non-use. My family moved to Seattle while I was a teen. I eventually graduated from the University of Washington in Seattle. During my time in Seattle,12 years), I took one year out and moved to Boston, Massachusetts, so i could attend the New England Conservatory of Music in Voice. My sister and I then moved to Miami, Florida. She returned to Seattle after a year and a half, but I stayed on and entered the public sector of work…the Treasury Department. Miami is where I met my husband, Tom, also in the public sector. And, that’s where we get back to 1980 when we both moved to Greensboro, NC after my 9-year stay and his 25-year stay in Miami.

We have 2 married sons and a granddaughter, who will be 4 this September. It should be no surprise, that Tom and I love to travel, spending anywhere from 3-5 weeks on one of our adventures.”
